Terms of Service

This website is owned and operated by Artisun Private Limited, which sells under the brand name Artisun Skinwear. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Artisun Private Limited. "You" means anyone who visits this website or places an order on it.

By using artisunskin.com or buying from it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and any order must be placed by them.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account details and password private, and for anything done through your account. Tell us at support@artisunskin.com if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend or close an account if we have reason to believe it is being used fraudulently or to break these terms.

3. Products and how they appear

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Screens render colour differently, so the shade and finish of a product may not look exactly as it does in a photograph. Packaging and formulation may change over time, and the details printed on the pack you receive take precedence over the website.

4. Price and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment partners. We do not store your card details.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price.

5. When an order is accepted

Your order is an offer to buy. Our acceptance happens when we dispatch the goods, not when you receive the order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, and we will refund you in full if we do. Reasons include the product being out of stock, a pricing error, a delivery address we cannot serve, or an order that appears to be fraudulent or intended for resale.

We sell to end customers. If you want to stock Artisun, write to us rather than ordering through this site.

6. Delivery

Delivery is covered in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Using our products

Our products are cosmetics for external use on the skin. They are not medicines and they do not treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

Skin varies. Patch test on a small area of your inner arm before you use a new product on your face, and stop using it if you get irritation, redness or a rash that does not settle. If you are pregnant, are being treated for a skin condition, or are using prescription actives such as retinoids, check with your doctor or dermatologist first.

Sun protection depends on how you use it. The SPF and PA ratings on our packs are measured under standard test conditions at a set dose. You will get the tested level of protection only if you apply enough product and reapply through the day. Sunscreen is one part of sun protection, not the whole of it.

Read the ingredient list before you buy if you have a known allergy.

9. Reviews and anything you post

You may be able to submit reviews, photographs or comments. Anything you submit must be your own, must be honest, and must not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene or an infringement of someone else's rights.

By submitting content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with Artisun, including on our website, marketplaces and social channels. You confirm you have the right to grant that licence. We may edit or remove submitted content, and we are not obliged to publish anything.

10. Our intellectual property

The Artisun name, the Artisun logo, "Skinwear", our product names, and all text, photography, illustration, design and code on this site belong to us or are licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use any of it commercially without our written permission.

11. What you may not do

Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to break any Indian law or regulation.
Introduce viruses or any code intended to damage or interfere with the site.
Scrape, harvest or extract data from the site by automated means.
Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, its servers, or another user's account without authorisation.
Resell our products without a written agreement with us, or misrepresent yourself as an authorised Artisun seller.

12. Links to other websites

Where we link to a third-party site or marketplace, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices.

13. What we do not promise

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful. The site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

14. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising out of your use of this site or our products. Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

This clause does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

16. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by something beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, civil unrest, government action, courier failure, power outage or internet outage.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please check the page from time to time.

19. If something is wrong

Write to support@artisunskin.com first. Most things are settled there. If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer, whose details are on our Legal Notice page.
